He managed to listen quietly to both of them, saying afterwards with a snarky tone, "Well I wouldn't say ignorant, I've seen far worse." Mark looked to Asher "I meant as in untaught" He said then glanced around the area. "I don't live here and probably won't. Not that it will matter if we can't find the teacher." He frowned and focused back on the two in front of him "Perhaps I will see you two around while I am here." He said, preparing to leave them for the moment.

Khloe scoffed, "So you're just going drop a bomb of crazy info on us, then walk away?" She looked quickly to Asher, and back to Mark, "We both only found out, like minutes ago, that we're not the only ones, and now, here you are out of the blue, this is nuts?!" She wasn't angry, more, disappointed, and frustrated. Where is Zack when I need him, he's the reasonable one!

Mark smiled at her " I am going to be in town for a few weeks, You can go for your run and find me once you have had a chance to process. I can answer some of your questions, not all, but some"

Khloe smiled bashfully back, "Thanks, anything would help, and I'm sorry about getting kinda upset, just this morning I thought my family were the only shifters, and now I know two more, it's a lot to, as you said, process." She glanced to Asher again, his presence was reassuring.
 
Julie frowned. She had never taken on more than one shifter at a time in her life. And now there were three. It was too much, and if any of them shifted into their animal forms, she was in trouble; they'd probably smell her. She slipped out a couple of weapons she currently had on her, and prepared herself if she had to fight.

"That's not what I heard" Asher replied to Mark, ending in a sort of fake apologetic shrug. He was getting rather fed up with the whole routine of shifters magically popping up everywhere, and was not yet aware of Julie who was silently watching them all

Mark smiled to Khloe then looked to Asher and tilted his head "What did you hear?" He asked, genuinely curious. He still didn't understand how neither could know the histories of their people.
