I'm new to Backyard Chickens but I've been consulting the forums and articles to help get us started and through our first week with 12 chicks. We picked 4 Rhode Island Reds, 4 Australorps, and 4 Ameraucanas. One of our girls is significantly larger than all the others and her coloring doesn't match. I know they're a week (plus a few days or such) old but the difference is stark from her coloring on her wings to her head and neck to the curve of her beak. The place we bought all of our chicks from also carries guinea keets and they all arrived at the same time. Could our tall gal be a keet? Or, Ameraucana rooster?!View attachment 1170579

Your chicks are too young to sex. Also, your "Ameraucanas" are actually Easter Eggers.

That looks like an Americana to me. I have one that looks like that!

Kinda looks like my ameraucana rooster when he was younger, but you may have to wait till you hear that crow to be sure

Easter Eggers. True Ameraucana always have a color/variety specified and cost quite a bit more than most other breeds.

Actually I should specify I have an EE that looks just like this. They sometimes sell them mislabeled.
