I have been questioning whether or not this one might be a roo. Its comb & wattle are darker than the other SLW that is the same age & its feather pattern is splotchier with darker patches. The comb & wattle don't seem to be much bigger than the other SLW tho (if at all). They are 8 weeks old. Should I be able to tell their sex by now?
Pullets will have rounded ends on the feathers on their neck, wing and tail feathers. A cockerel will have pointed feathers and a definite spur button on the inside surface of his leg just about the "ankle".

This Is a definite pullet!!!!

Hi a new SLW owner here. Beautiful birds and can't wait til they are older. I need help sexing my 2.5 week old chicks. We can not have roosters in town
