the size of the comb

I purchased about 5 leghorns. They were straight run as they call it. By the way I am a newby so please don't laugh....hehehehe. Anyway, out of the five, two have larger combs. Not so much the wottles. Does this mean they are roos? Thanks

I believe you can tell the males from females by the coloration of their comb. Boys will turn pink after several weeks and the girls don't turn red until right before they begin to lay.

It does not automatically mean they are a rooster if they have slightly larger wattles, but most of the time it does. A picture would be very helpful so that we can give you advice.
