Call nibbled at some grass. Her ears twitched as some wind ruffled the feathers of her wings. Spreading them, she glanced back up at her surroundings, watching for Day Herd, which was dreadfully close.

Tempest laid down slowly under a tree, keeping an eye on the other pegasi of Dusk Herd. He unfurled his wings to let a breeze fly through them. They had plenty of grass here, but he was considering asking the other HighGuides if they should move the herd soon.

Jade grazed at the river bank while Miri nursed. The silvery mare raised her head to gaze at the sky thoughtfully, and then submerged her forehead in creek water.
