Tempest snorted and maneuvered his wings to push himself higher. "Really?" he shouted with a grin before diving after her.

He brushed his left wing against hers, leading her higher with shining, dark eyes. Tempest felt his heart soaring. The nagging voice in his head telling him to find Comet became a whisper as he beat his wings again.
