The smell of raising chicks

How many chicks in how big/what kind of brooder?

I brooded 8 chicks in an 8'x8' camping tent for 5.5 weeks and had no smell (other than the smell of the bedding, but no poo smell). I used hemp bedding and aspen bedding (changed out about once every ten days).

I also was lucky enough to have a spare bedroom in which to keep the tent, so that helped as well.

I would have 10 chicks. And the size of the tent would be 57 inches by 77 inches.

The poop smell or the shaving/warm smell?

And I will say I changed there bedding regularly but still nothing was helping.
