Alina turned from taking a dish out of the old Rangemaster oven. She smiled on seeing Mark.Mark walked inside, hoping that dinner would be ready now.
Mark waved a hand, "I have a feeling that if she had just met you, she would've stayed anyway."Alina turned from taking a dish out of the old Rangemaster oven. She smiled on seeing Mark.
"I hear you were kind enough to persuade Tara to stay over,"
"I don't think so," Alina called over her shoulder, as she put the dish on the island. "Whew, that's hot."Mark waved a hand, "I have a feeling that if she had just met you, she would've stayed anyway."

Elsie grumbled a little, but then sighed."What is it Millie?" Mark asked, still thinking about how Elsie had criticized him.
"Yes. Next hiding place," Mark told her, intentionally irritating her when he didn't elaborate.
