"Yes. Next hiding place," Mark told her, intentionally irritating her when he didn't elaborate.

Elsie grumbled a little, but then sighed.
"I'm going to take a short walk. I'll be back soon," she told everyone, pushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear and walking away.
