Cleo squealed with excitement," aww!! Your first date!! I wish I was as lucky as you are, lottie" she said with joy

Matt blushed and looked at lottie happily, he glanced down at his watch and jolted with surprise," what?! Oh no... I'm Late for a meeting, I'm sorry, I really am but I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow?!" He asked with a smile

Alina took them with a smile and began rapidly chopping and peeling, before putting the carrots in a pan on the old Rangemaster and the lettuce, celery and cucumber on a platter.
Calder moved closer and pinched a celery stick.
"Hey!" Alina said, playfully slapping his hand away, "You pig!"
Chris would, most likely, have smiled and sat back to watch the verbal fencing match that was sure to ensue. But instead, he was eyeing Tara.

Eventually he strode over and took her aside. "Is everything okay?"

“Yeah” she sniffed “just life’s been a bit hard for me lately. My parents were killed in a car crash 3 weeks ago, I havent seen my sister who lives in Chicago since the funeral and I just turned 18. I lost the house and most of my belongings, I have a few keepsakes from my mum but most went to my sister. So I have literally been on the streets”
 
Elsie strolled up to Alina's door and knocked. She swung back and forth on her heels, until finally somebody answered.
"Hi. I'm Elsie. I want in."
"Uh... what? How did you find us?" Calder asked.
"Next time encrypt your cell signals," she told him, shoving her way past him through the door.
