I have been flirted with by my bff's ex. I got my revenge on him; he and I are now mortal enemies. So in other words, I fixed the problem. (And almost kicked him in the balls in the process!)

That's a horrible song (and not all true, some guys are wonderful!) but it applies to this dude and several others I work with.

I don't even know what they see in me! There are nicer looking, better mannered girls all over the volunteer place.

That's um, part of your problem. A lot of guys like less well mannered girls. Not the kind of guys you are looking for!
