Sonya 'accidentally' hit the button to open the door to the kids 'living' section of the lab when she set her clipboard down "oops" She said softly as a door opened in the wall.

Charles glanced to her and frowned

Alexis and Gwenevere turned to the door curiously.

Danika looked at the door, then to Dakota

Luca was ready to climb the walls in fear, except, well, she couldn't.

Luce's eyes widened as she watched the doors swing open by themselves. creepy. Very creepy indeed. she thought. She glanced around at the other kids. They seemed just as confused by the opening doors as Luce. She looked at the doors curiously, wondering where they lead to, but she wasn't so dumb as to walk in through the door first. She wasn't sure what was inside the door.

Genevere walked to the door and through. She looked around the hallway curiously. She went to the first door and opened it, revealing a room full of all kinds of edible plants. She opened the next door and revealed an indoor field. The next two were pools, and then the bedrooms started.

"ok" dakota said. She moved slowly toward the food and grabbed a peice of ham. She ate quickly then turned away and sat down in a corner.

Sefra moved over to the food. " Hello", she said to Bunny. Like bunny she was hyper; having splice between squirrel and bird.
"HI!" bunny said, a crazy grin on her face. "What's your name? my name is..." She frowned, suddenly seeming less hyper, maybe a bit sad. "um..."
((her brain was slightly muddled because of her odd splices. she doesn't remember her name. Energizer bunny is the nickname she got from her pink bunny ears and tail, and the fact that she scarcely ever stops moving))

Quote: ((oh, dear. I just realized something. I think I named one of my characters gwen, too. :3 this might get confusing.))

Vondrr smiled back, which looked odd, seeing as either he had very thin lips, or no mouth at all. The only way to tell his expression were his thin black eyebrows, and his very expressive glowing purple eyes.

Jenna shifted uncomfortably. Something about this Vondrr character made her nervous. It was a sort of a feeling, like he didn't belong in a cage. Or he didn't belong in this room. Sometimes, she wondered if he didn't even belong in this world. She shook her head. Crazy. There was no scientific evidence of aliens or other dimentions. He was probably just a mutant or something. Bad genes, she told herself.

Chelsea stepped out of her tube. Her soft, furry feet made no noise on the ground, she was like a shadow. She crept around the room, giving the newly opened doors a wide berth. She didn't know what was inside them, but she didn't trust it.
She walked up to Bunny. She didn't say anything, just watched her. I feel like I know you from somewhere.... she thought, her brow furrowing slightly.

Stormdancer turned to Firebird as the doors opened, startled. "What do you think is in there? Do you want to go-" "NO." Firebird responded, surprising Stormdancer. "I think we should stay. We don't know where we are, and we don't know what's in there. It could be a trap, or something dangerous. I am staying here." Firebird said, quietly but with authority. Stormdancer nodded. "I guess that makes sense. Should we have something to eat, then?" Stormdancer asked, looking at the table, drooling a bit at the smell of warm meat. "Could be drugged. Poisoned. never know." Firebird said, warily.

Jenna turned to some of the technological devices in the room, marking some of the splices' vitals. She then jerked around to Matthew. "Matthew. MATTHEW!" she said, yanking on his sleeve. "what?" he replied, irritated. "Subject 12's heart is beating irregularly, if at all." Matthew turned to a panel of buttons and pressed one, opening one test tubes, containing a pale, sleeping form. He looked pale. "No... Not 12... I had such hope for it... The only one I had spliced..."
The tube opened, and Maria stumbled out, half awake, half alive. She had once had long blonde hair, but now it had streaks of oily black, and one strip of white. One of her green eyes had turned a glowing, a violent shade of purple, and though she was stooped, she looked at least six and a half feet tall. Her arms were long and spindly, down to her knees. Her skin was deathly pale. And her heart was not beating.
(scientifically, I believe you can live for about 3-4 minutes with no heartbeat. Then, you go unconscious. You take brain damage from lack of oxygen, though you're not yet dead. Then, sometime very soon after that, you die.)

Gwen came back in the room "You have to see this place. It's huge" She said and went back out again to try moor doors.

Alexis went to Maria, concerned. She checked Maria for a pulse then started CPR. She didn't know how she knew what to do, she was just acting on the forgotten memory.
