~The Song of Night and Dread of Day~ The RP(Role Play)

Narfary looked at her in his reclined position. He smiled sadly then said, "If it doesn't offend, why do you not know your blood mother?" He was curious, it wasn't often that your alpha female offer personal information about herself.

Amara thought. "I wasn't raised by my mother, or by my own species at all. My mother, or mother figure, was actually a hyena. My mother... I am not sure what had happened to her, but I was told she had been killed by a rival pack." She stopped, maybe that's why I had that strange dream. She continued. "I learned the ways of a hyena, rather than a wild dog, but, I watched others and learned." She finished, she couldn't remember much

Narfary watched her closely as she shared her past. When she finished he said, "Hyenas were formidable, strong, smart and deadly. Being raised by them only makes you a better leader and alpha, Amara. What a truly unique wild dog you are. Thank you for sharing, that with me." He said reverently.

Amara smiled. ' You are very sweet, although living in a hyena pack is hard for males, they are considered tje lowest ranking members. Females rule the packs.' She just brought up, remembering life in a hyena pack

Amara nodded, she knew that hyenas and wild dogs were enemies, but what brought an enemy to raise her as their own

Siena walked up meekly and looked around nervously. When no one told her to leave. She quietly went over to lay down on the other side of Nafary. She rolled onto her side with her back pressed against his side. She felt safe with him around her.

Narfary looked over at her, then absently nibbled her ear playfully. She giggled and swatted at him with her paw. Siena was his favorite sister. He laughed at her and then went back to watching the branches of the tree above him.

Amara chuckled and lay her head on her paws. It was nice to relax, but her mate problem wasn't going to get solved by her laying around. She knew that soon, seeing that their alpha is useless without a mate to expand the pack.

Narfary noticed Amara put her head on her paws. She pushed herself to hard. What ever was the urgency, he didn't understand it. They all had food in their bellies, fresh water, land to live and hunt on. But it was beyond his rank, so he left her alone.

Amara knew that without a mate, soon the other members of the pack will begin fighting for the highest rank. She let out a sigh, her brain was too jumbled, she had to take a break from all this mate business. She closed her eyes and fell asleep
