Special Need: She got sick and started with the sneezes and progressed with diarrhea, chills, constant sleeping (as seen in the picture), and eventually stopped eating and drinking. Things are looking up for her now though.

How about Scout? Scout is an Easter Egger who suffered severe frostbite on his feet when he was just a tiny baby.

Scout, taken today when the Littles were introduced to the flock. His feet are still deformed, but he gets around fine. He runs, roosts, and scratches in the dirt - he just does it all differently than the other chickens.

Aww, Scout and I thank you most sincerely. I was also hoping there would be more entries, but I guess we can't all be blessed with special chickens in our flocks. @TheEggCollecter I hope your baby is doing better.

Sorry I missed this. I have a special needs RIR hen. She spent 2 months in the house with me recovering from a fight with a 15lb rabbit buck. Her legs got skinned in places down to the bone, one toe bitten off, another half off, and the rest so mangled that I didn't know if she would ever be able to walk. She surprised me though and fought like a champ and eventually did start walking. I don't have a close up picture of her feet but her name is Wonky because of her feet.
