Whenever I feed mine cracked corn I can feel the pieces in their crop! It's really weird but cool in a way! Haha I guess I'm weird.

Lovely green grass too! We just have weeds and soon will just have dirt as the summer comes

Thank goodness my mom, sister and friend have grass that they give me the mowings of, LOL.

Here is my girl! At least in this one she has been washed.


She still isn't 100% yet. She has been eating and drinking, but just low key and not herself. She moves around and gets up but is just not "with it". I can tell she still doesn't feel her best yet.

And those little munchkins are the cutest things! Oh my, so sweet! They all look fantastic! They weren't hatchery stock like mine, were they? They look nicer

Sorry it has taken me a minute I have 5 kids a husband and run a bakery out of the house and it is graduation season so I am busy!

This is my Marilyn her feet were nasty due to her running through the rain puddles,she was chasing a bug. She is my 8 year old DD's chicken and follows her around everywhere! She is quite the character. I do have a question how can I keep her from pooing on her wings? I nicknamed her Nasty Marilyn because she always has poo on her wings. I am thinking I should clip them.

I'll venture to bet, Marilyn is sitting under the roost, and not roosting with the others, and that is how she is getting poop on her wings?? My sultans don't like to roost, drives me nuts because I'm worried they'll get mites or something always sleeping on the floor... ugh!

Raja is hanging in there. The polish was previously sick, though, is now sick again. Ugh. I have no idea what is going on with these two.

Raja, I'm pretty sure, is hatchery stock! She was an extra chick in with my polish that the feed store gave me for free since nobody knew what it was and I didn't want to leave it alone. They either got hatching eggs from a hatchery or the hatchery had a bad hatch. They ordered 50 and got only 7 so not sure what happened. Her crest is decent but lacks in the back. Don't tell her, though, she seems extra sensitive,lol!

She started walking off after this pic to go sit in her feed tub and nearly hit the camera. Then she gave me the stinkeye all skeptical like I jumped HER. Lol!


My baby sultans had poop on their wing tips, too. They eventually grew out of this, though, when their bodies grew into their wing size. I just wipe off what I can with a wet paper towel.
