Ok, I'll try that tonight. I'm afraid if it gets too dark, a raccoon will get them, or an owl. However they are getting perhaps too big for an owl? I'm really a newbie and I guess I don't trust that they'll come

I just got my Ideal Poultry Shipping notification, but there was no tracking number. Don't they ship priority mail? Or? Anyway, my Sultans are on their way

Unfortunately... um... I gotta set up their brooder!

My chickens don't wait for it to be dark to go into their coop. They usually go sometime during sundown. Definitely wait and see if they put themselves to bed! Go out there when it starts getting dark and they should be looking to go inside. My birds have always put themselves away, and I just go out when it's dark to close the run door. Raccoons and owls usually hunt later in the evening.

They didn't send me a tracking number either.

When they shipped my chicks, they sent them Priority mail, not express. My chicks were fine, and I'm hoping your arrive safe, sound, and at the Post Office in the morning!
