Well, today the wind wrecked the rooster camp again. The Penny brothers found shelter under the trucktop. Close to the barn, but no cigar!
So yet again, I had to go on after them. This time crawling 15ft in a less than 2ft tall run. Through all the chicken poo, mud and other ewies, I finally made it to the back into the trucktop. And they again freak out like I want to eat them, ew, and eventually I catch them. I turn back around with one rooster under each arm, now crawling on my knees and elbows!
Ugh!!! No wonder I always smell like chicken!
Anyone else sacrifice themselves or w/e to help/better the lives of our birds?
