The Tummy tucking flab busters of BYC 2012

Don;t worry this thread isn;t going to die!!!!!!! Were just all gearing ourselves up for it right now.
It is only mid January and this is the time that everyone goes a wee bit flat on the old diet stuff. It will start to pick up again especially as the days get brighter and we all start eating RABBIT FOOD!

Now don;t be beating yourselves up over not keeping to a programme. We are just here to encourage eachother and advise on food and all that so not to worry quite yet! I am doing better in that I started to take the Dogs walking every morning! Then one of the dogs got a real bad back injury which we didn;t know how he did it. So he can;t walk out for now and then I had the cold these last few days so it kind of knocked me back a few days. But I am up for trying again next week. We just all have to get the old noses to the grind stone and work at it all. I am sure we have a good chance of getting there this time round.

Cool... we will rally together and continue encouragement! I too am not as ambitious..... need that mental kick.
 
I have a problem w/ snacking too, so I don't keep any snack foods except fruit in the house, if it's not there I can't eat it. Oh I also keep my homemade yogurt and custard (but the custard is my form of breakfast I am not much of a breakfast person and my recipe one serving is roughly one egg, 2/3 cup milk and 1.5 teasp brown sugar so it's healthy too)
 
Well I am a bad snacker and it is hard in this house to keep only healthy type foods. Especially when DH goes on one of his megga baking sessions. So I try to encourage him to do more things with Fruit in like yummy banana bread! Then I can grab a banana and tell him the ingredients are wonderful! Oh though it is sooo hard when all I want to do is grab a big whack of cake!!!!!

As for breakfast - I never usually like to eat a breakfast. They say it stops you snacking durring the day if you have a breakfast but I found it had the opposite affect on me. If I tasted ANY food I just kept going so if I didn;t eat breakfast I could go most of the day with just coffee! Now I am a better person and I do eat breakfast. I have natural yogurt and mussilli with strawberries in! Or I have a scrambled egg with some salmon which is really yummy for a treat.

So we all have our struggles and now I am going to have a rest as I am in the process of trying to designe a birthday cake for DD.
I thought a bed would be good? She is cellibrating the baby getting out of her cot and has bought a beautiful 4 poster for her. ( She had no choice the little horror can climb out of the cot already at 16 months!) So I was looking at some spun sugar and though it would be lovely as drapes? The idea is comming in my head but I need to make it more a DD style bed. DH of course is getting himself geared up for the baking and already has cup cakes sorted for the party. DD was quite Jealous of the princess cake she had made for Jessica so I have to come up with a design that she would like too!

We will see how it works in the end though of course it will not be healthy - I am seeing Dh loading chocolate and mint in the cupboards already?

Oesdog - Oh I know that darn Elliptical is calling me - fat butt again!
 
Just got back from the gym again. Man oh man am I tired. 30 min on the elliptical and my medicine ball ab workout again. I think it's time for a hot bath and a good book!
 
I have been munchy hungry all day! I'm so glad I'm safely at work until the morning, b/c if I were home I would so be making a batch of no bakes.
 
I have a cold, so I will skip the elliptical, although i stuck to the no eating after 6:30 (so far) and I did go into work.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

The upside, though; we're getting an elliptical in a few weeks! I'll actually be able to run during the winter!

I don;t think I will ever get to being proper thin until DH pops his cloggs!!!! He just made three THREE batches of After-eight buns and one batch of golden syrup and oat cookies!
I am doomed I tell you Doomed - not even the evil Elliptical can save me now I am drowning in cup-cake!!!!! He hasn;t even gotten to the frosting yet and I had to tast everything of course and then a slice of the Chocolate and banana bread he made the other day!!!

When did we say the weigh in for this month was???? -
