Ha - you make me laugh!!!!!! I have been putting out a bowl of fruit so i reach for that instead but it is incredibly hard work. Thing is I actually like his baking it is wonderful but not all the time. This morning I had porrage for breakfast which was fine. But then I had a biscuite and ate some of the baking mix and the butter cream filling I was making to help DH. You know I get roped in! Then of course when the buns were dun I had to test one or two but chose the small ones mini buns so was proud of myself for that. Except I know I will take a big one later when everyone is here for dinner. Then I will have a big roast dinner tonight with the dessert of Strawberry Flan and cream. You see where this is going for me???? Now I can;t even walk the Dog because he is ill with a spinal injury> not good and I was doing so well.

I have to grow some big carrots this year but then DH will probably grab my hand and stick the carrot into a darn cake and drissle cream on top!!!!

Oesdog - I love cake - I am soooo not good with cake!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, then, walk yourself! you can even get one of those stiff leashes and collars and walk your 'invisible dog'!

I was 10.10 lbs this morning - better than 10.11 but still it went back to that as soon as I had a coffee

I am really quite cross with myself as I have put on so much weight after all that effort to get it off. I was so close to being 9 stone something - anything would have done!!! So I am starting again and pushing myself 20 mins excersize this morning first thing and I am dropping all the nice cake - well just until DDs birthday as I have to eat some of that. So i am really going for it girls this time and trying my hardest to get down to 10. 7 lbs by the 31st! So I can at least say I lost something this month! My sanity probably!!!!

I have been ill but I hope to restart after the weekend,Iknow that any progress I had made is now in the dumpster but I must not give up.I'm still off the beer and that is at least 1100 calories a day less than I was consuming for the last 3 years.

Yep, cutting out that amount of empty calories should certainly help, Karl. I'm not having any beer or wine during the week at all, and I have done well so far with not snacking so much. It is hard, Oesdog, especially when it is right in front of you. I ate too much on Sunday, but am working hard to make up for it. BF made a wonderful Cuban roast, so I just had to try my hand at making Flan.

But at least I have not had any since then. Flan, by the way, is an excellent dessert for chicken owners to make, as it takes 7 eggs!

Anyway, I did a different program on my excersise game on the PS3, and it made me realize I am really out of shape. I thought I was making more progress than I apparently have doing the yoga. My legs are so sore, and I was so winded half way through the workout. Back to yoga tonight, and keep at the game till I can do it without collapsing!

Yes chicks the yoga is good for circulation and stretchiung but not the same as cardio.I hope to start riding and jogging soon,we will se as the weather gets warmer.

I think all of this walking is starting to pay off. I am now warm when no one else is, so my metabolism bust now be geared up. It just took a while for it to get going I guess. I am looking forward to losing weight now. I do not want to enter my second half of my century chubby. I have five months to get trim.
Can I do it?
YES I CAN!
