The Tummy tucking flab busters of BYC 2012

Well my horse is struggling under the weight of its rider right now!
Look at these things DH made the ginger bread house for Christmas and the Birthday cake he just finished today for Dd who is comming for dinner.
I am never going to get this darn mule to carry my weight!!

How will I ever get to be thin!!!!!!!

tell hubby to stop sabotaging your efforts to get healthy or you're going to dump him!

Well on impulse, I hopped on the scale expecting bad news, but I only gained a pound for all the days of binges and no exercise. That gives me incentive to get going again.
Starting tomorrow......

Ok I bit the bullet and got on the scales... Ummm I have gained 5 lbs.... have been good all day... and staying very very busy. Trying to stay focused :)

I actually think January is the hardest of the months for the weight. You have to come to terms with the "christmas damage" and then there is the cold dismal weather for most of us. All you want to do is stay in by a big fire and eat big warm hearty meals and when you do go out - you head for indoor activities like watching a movie. Of course then there are all the snacks that go with that. Even hanging around coffee shops and eating buns - I know I do this to stay warm while out and about or doing the weekly shopping trip. These winter months are hard work but they will pass and we can get out in the sun and start really excersizing instead of comfort eating.

I really don;t think we should be too hard on ourselves right now. This is the bit were it gets difficult and it is easy to throw in the towel . But we have to hold onto what motivated us to try to lose the weight in the first place.( Those reasons are still there!!!) It is not about weigh days and giult trips. A weigh day is there to tell us how we are doing. It helps us to think on were we have come from and helps us plan on how we get to the next step. I am hoping that I have lost a lb or 2 but sadly I actually think like a lot of others I have gained this month. It has not put me off of trying though. I think there will be ups and downs the whole way along this road. So I just want to engourage everyone. If your weight is up it doesn;t mean give up!!!!!! It means we re-think our game plan and make a few changes. The scales are there to guide us not judge us. You are all in my thoughts. SO I know we can do this together. Hang in there it will come good in the end.

Hay we all have issues with the little battles in our lives everyday. But its not winning the battles that counts its winning the war and we have a good way to go before then so keep up the good work we may not win all the battles but let us strive to win the war against the fat this year!!!!!! Karl your great keep going !!!!!

I refuse to get on the scale. We took our new dog to the vet for her shots and I weighed myself on the doggie scale. My scale LIES!!!
so after the initial depression of weighing five pounds more than I thought I did, I told myself that I will weigh again when we bring in the next dog.
I have about a month to shed some weight.
I am still walking 2 to 2.5 miles a day. I do not seem to be losing a drop of weight, but I feel so much better. My depression is lifting and that alone is a weight off.
Keep it up everyone.
Be healthy!

I always lose weight when I'm pregnant-but then gain it back while nursing.
