It seemed to be getting a little dark, so Naeva headed inside and prepared to hunt again. She put her hair in a bun, since it was such a nuisance when she bit people, it always got in the way.
The weather was rather chilly today, so she put on a sweater and waited by her window for it to get darker.

Daniel laid the unconscious victim down on the grass outside of his house and started sucking the blood out of her veins.
 
Once it had finally gotten dark enough, Naeva put on her shoes (knee-length lace-up boots) and headed outside, her nose and cheeks eventually turning a little red with the cold temperature.

She trudged through the forest until she had reached the edge of the city, and walked along the sidewalks, looking around to see if mostly everyone had gone to sleep yet or not. She knew very well that as the years passed, more and more people seemed to stay up later.

Once Daniel finished feeding, he decided to go to Naeva's house to see if she wanted to hunt together. He reached her house, and noticed it was empty. Instead, he walked out of the forest, thankfully meeting her. He tapped her shoulder and whispered "Have you hunted yet?"

Naeva jumped a little and turned to Daniel.
"Jeez, you could have given me some kind of warning, like not touching my shoulder." She said and sighed. "But no, I haven't. Why do you ask?"

"Loud." She replied, rubbing her bloodstained eyes "Jason keeps crying and waking up his sister, and then the moment the dog barks they wake up and start crying again". Colette took another sip of her coffee, craving the caffeine that was the only thing keeping her awake and functioning.

Daniel asked politely "Do you usually hunt by yourself, or could I join you?".

Xylo kissed Colette and said "Well, we're parents now. Can you believe it?" He chuckled.
