^The Two Forests^ A Shapeshifting RP

Jason nodded, passing her a Lego mini figure.

Colette relaxed on the sofa, curling up inside a soft blanket as she watched a film.
Lillian giggled and started moving the mini figure.

Once Xylo knew they were settled in, he went downstairs to Colette to watch the movie with her. He curled up next to her and kissed her.

Colette kissed him back and after a couple of minutes pulled away, sighing. She sat back and enjoyed the film.

Colette moaned, realising that it was resent moon. She dropped onto the ground, yelping as her hands morphed into paws. A single tear rolled down her cheek as her tail grew from the end of her spine, letting out a cry as her back painfully snapped into place. She ran into the kitchen, climbing out of the half open window as she disappeared into the night. Smells and sounds overpowered her as she trotted down the street, loosing all self control.

Xylo was about to shout for her to come back, before he and the kids starting transforming too. He cried out in pain as his spine shook, and his body elongated. He was soon too, a fox. He howled, hoping that Colette would hear him and come back.

Colette carried on, oblivious to Xylo calling for her.

Xylo started to get nervous. He had three whining pups, and his beloved mate was missing. He howled one more time in despair.

Colette heard Xylos howl and looked up, but was instantly distracted by the smell of food. She had lost the little control that she had had of her instincts. She knocked over a trash can, discovering the hidden delights inside; greasy fried chicken, melted ice cream in a soggy cardboard tub and the remains of an oily hamburger. She didn't notice the lights flick on in the house behind her.
