After a while, Naeva gave in and went to satisfy her desire for blood. She decided to go to the nearest college, since there it was more likely no one would wake up due to fatigue from working all day.
She went to the city and managed to sneak into the college, since nearly everyone was asleep. Naeva slinked through the halls of the dorm rooms, wondering which one she should pick. Finally, she just picked a random door and approached it.
Gently pressing her head against the door, she waited to see if there was any noise. Going into a human's room when they were awake would be a death sentence.

Daniel lay still in his bed, which was right inside door.

When Naeva only heard silence, she slowly opened the door and quietly stepped into the room. She looked around, and saw a human fast asleep in his bed.
Approaching the person, she leaned over and bit his neck, and started drinking his blood. Once she was done, she backed away and wiped blood from her mouth. Naeva had drank a considerable amount of blood, but not enough to kill him.

Daniel squirmed in his sleep, and soon awoke. Only to see a vampire in his dormitory. He asked her in awe and confusion "Why are you here?" while clutching his neck in pain.

Naeva sighed. Of course, he had to wake up when she was done.

"To drink your blood, what do you think?" She replied, putting her hands on her hips. "But you needn't worry, you won't die...Probably."

Daniel looked at her furiously, but then calmed down. He walked up to her in her face and demanded "So now I'm a vampire too? Now I'm one of you idiots?" Already he sensed an urge to drink blood.
