Naeva waited until the coffee was warm enough to be decent, since she didn't want to wait any longer, and drank it as quickly as physically possible so she could hurry up and do something productive. After spending an hour or so looking around the school and chatting to the teacher, Colette arranged for the twins to start on Monday. She stopped off at the grocery store on the way home, picking up a roast chicken for tea. She returned home, put the chicken in the oven and flopped onto the sofa, exhausted. Colette looked down at her growing belly- she would be due any day now.

Colette awoke suddenly, wincing in pain as she transformed. She comforted Flora as she transformed as well, gently picking her up by the scruff and carrying her outside to the den.
