I've been feeding Cocoa spinach at least every other day, maybe a little more than a hand full....Did not realise this was bad for female ducks. So glad I found this post!! I was actually searching the web for duck vitamin info... and of course all searches always lead me back here!

I printed this list to put in my kitchen as a quick reference for me and my children. Great info!!!!

Both I, and the ducks, are wondering about mountain ash berries. We both spend a great deal of time looking up at the interesting orange things in the adjoining trees, and wonder if the cedar waxwings are cutting-edge culinarians, or simply immune to something duck-specifically lethal.

After having a little beggar at my feet in the kitchen tonight, I've now learned that cooked crab is especially tasty for little ducks. I didn't know how his stomach would take it so I only gave him a few pieces, but holy moly he has bad crab breath! We'll see how the end result smells. I may not repeat if we have nasty droppings.

Thank you so much for posting this thread I printed all nine sheets of great info. I came across it when I was looking up vitmans for ducks to treat a leg injury!

Thank you so much for the info. wasn't sure what to feed my babys.
I do have a question if they recieved bread once will it hurt them to badly.

I like this!! I have a cherry tree in my backyard that my chickens and ducks love in the summer! The cherries always role out of my ducks mouth so I always take out the seed for them. Glad I did that! :)
