The ULTIMATE list of DUCK Treats and Supplements...

Pics

Does anyone know what this stuff is? My ducks LOVE it and keep it trimmed around the brim of the pot in Summer.

Looks like sedum to me. Are the leaves a little on the thick and fleshy side?

Maybe Sedum sarmentosum.
thanks - I've looked it up and I think you're right....and it's edible. At least the ducks love it.

I fed month old ducklings the manna pro for ducks and it made them legarthic and much quieter than usual. I have taken it away from them because this is so unusual. Anyone else have this issue with Manna Pro?

I fed my flock of young ducks and chickens thawed out frozen peas last night. They went bonkers for them! I threw them down one at a time and it was like a wrestling match! Their favorite treat so far! They didn't care for peppers much...already found that out. Tomatoes and cabbage were a success though.

Oh boy ! Thank you. I had read somewhere that spinach was a good thing. I have been feeding my young ducks and geese spinach daily. I will stop. Thank you for the advise.

I feed mine lettuce almost daily along with strawberries. Bananas, tomatoes, and anything else I think they'll like. They love minnows too!

Love this list, thanks so much. Tried my ducks on pears today, they weren't too sure. They kind of flick their heads to shake it out of their bills! So funny.

Thank you so much for posting this list! Not only is it very helpful,it will satisfy the, shall I say differences of opinion with my Girls on what they can and cannot have! Again,THANK YOU!!!

I did look this up also as I have different Sedums growing around the yard and some have bigger leaves than others! I DO think these are a form of sedum,do they get any flowers to them in the fall or end of summer? The bigger leaf ones get pinky-red -like lollipop flowers toward end of summer!
