The ULTIMATE list of DUCK Treats and Supplements...

Pics
Okay, not to sound like a broken record then, but what about Kale? That's the main treat I've been giving my ducks since they were just a few weeks old. I've also given the chard, dandelion greens, mustard greens, watercress and collards, but kale is really my go-to.

I think kale is fine, it has oxalic acid but way less than spinach. And it's muck higher in calcium, apparently even more than milk. Found a list at healthyonraw.com of oxalic acid levels in common foods. It looks like lambs quarters would be very bad for ducks it has more oxalic acid than spinach.

This is probably in here somewhere, but I want to add that this evening my son and i were re-arranging some landscape stones inside our duck area and under every stone were several earth worms. Our ducks went crazy eating them! I dont know if the nutritional value of them but boy they enjoyed them.

My boyfriend fed some ducks some small sausages yesterday, is this ok for them? Really glad I found this blog because I'd really like to know!

Also, if you feed a lemon to a duck, will it die?
