The unidentifiable chicken

What do you think she breed is? Not one person has been helpful and no ones been able to lead me in the right direction.

She lays med brown eggs, is smaller then the normal chicken, and is not flighty like you think she would be.

She is also about 2 years old.

This site is my last hope. I am on a few FB chicken groups, no one knows. My friends have no idea... I have also had a chicken breeder from C&L farms come out to look at her too. (they live down the road from me but are a very large farm)

I am so new to this that I don't even have an actual coop yet. LOL. I bought chicks that are starting to look like this. I found one place that labeled them as some kind of Rock, maybe Plymouth. Mine turned out to be roosters, I have to let them go. Good Luck!!

What type of comb does she have?

Regardless, she's not a "breed", she is a mixed breed hen. You'll never know absolutely, but saying she's something barred mixed with something crested is a great start. And if she's calm and a good layer, that's what matter to most of us.
