The unknown blue saga

    Okay... she's bigger now so hopefully someone can identify her. This baby is about 8 weeks old and came from TSC (Privett Hatchery). Any thoughts on breed? So far no one has been able to identify her lineage. A million brownie points to anyone who can tell me what she is!

    if she develop a white cheek, andalusian/ hamburgh, depend son the comb.

    Looks like she has a pea comb.This makes me think she is a blue sumatra.The feet look yellow also

    Yup. The bottom of her feet have yellow on them. Sumatra you say? Off to do some googling...

    I would also guess Blue Sumatra. The body shape seems to fit.

    Great guess! She looks just like the feathersite photos of blue sumatra hens. YAY! She has a breed now!

    I think we have a winner! She surely does look like the blue sumatra hens. I am completely smitten! I just love the lacing on the feathers. Gorgeous!

    (Of course, now I may need more sumatras. Curses!)
