The usual question 😆 4-5 mo. old silkie...do I have a pullet or roo?

I adopted Freya from a farm animal rescue in early February. I was told she was about 5 weeks old, so my best guess is she's in the 4-5 month range. I was told she was a girl but know when they're that young you really can't tell. We've given her a girls name and have been referring to her as "she" but I am becoming more and more suspicious...I'm not experienced with sexing silkies but...the stance and behavior and some other things are reallyyyy making me think she may not be a she. I wanted to see what some more experienced people think. Regardless of her gender, she's in her forever home with me.

The signs have started popping up here and there, especially over the last 1.5 months or so.

I know that you can ceossbreed silkies with some other chickens, but I was wondering if they are able to mate with any female and produce fertile eggs or only certain breeds? I have a Dutch bantam hen and a hen who is what I think an austra white.

As far as I know they can crossbreed with any chicken breed as long as they can mate with each other which is usually most breeds (maybe unless the size difference is huge). Like right now I just hatched bantam brahma and silkie crosses.

If you have drastic size differences, fertility might be reduced because it's harder for them to successfully mate, but that doesn't mean they're unable to produce fertile eggs and might even produce eggs that have high hatch rates! He is indeed a cockerel
