*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Gwen picked at her meal, she would soon have to ready herself for the dinner.
Linnet hadn't eaten since breakfast. She was too giddy with excitement for the evening. She went ahead and dressed. The white gown fit quite perfectly, she thought. She put her hair into a bun and put a wreath of white roses on.
---
Edwin sat in a chair beside Mariah. He sighed. The guests would arrive soon, but until then, he was to stay in her sight.
Mariah sat up straight, a perfect smile on her thin lips. She ignored Edwin's slouching position
--
Edmund adjusted his sword hilt, then mounted his shining steed and headed for Alnwick castle.
--
Richard rolled his eyes. Another dinner, seriously? He thought. The queen insisted he and Kat both go. "For safety". He mounted his horse, and waited for Kat. At least he'd have someone to talk to.

"Oh" she started to walk outside.
The blonde at the table stood up, brushing off his pants, (which, in fact, had nothing on them), then went to go outside after Jenel. "Well, I am afraid that I won't be staying overnight. I tend to prefer my own bed, my saddle, or the open ground." He turned around, moving out the door backwards. "I might be here next month, but that depends on if Redd wants to come or not."
" oh i thought you would stay. But ok. Thank you for your service." She offered him her hand.

Gwen finished getting ready. The blue gown isn't as pretty as the last one. Green just suits me better. She though.

Linnet danced out of her bedroom, humming to herself. She had her grey cloak on, but the hood was off so as to not mess up her hair.
--
Edmund stopped his horse in the courtyard. He nodded to Richard, who ignored him
--
Katrina raised an eyebrow. "Then where are you to sleep?" She asked Redd

Kat frowned as the seamstress made her final adjustments. Unlike all of the male knights, she was being forced to wear a dress. It was a deep blue floor lengths dress, that swiveled around her waist. It is a pretty dress, she thought, but it doesn't belong on me.

Gwen was escorted to her carriage, and waited for Lady Linnet.

Peter paced through the garden, his dark suit layer on his bed. Not quite ready to put it on, he enjoyed the last few rays of sunshine.

Fawn rubbed her back as she headed for her room. Thankfully she wasn't requested for Gwen's party.
---
Richard stared straight ahead, completely ignoring Edmund. Edmund did likewise, however he was grinning.
---
Linnet twirled out the door, before nearly running into a servant. She quickly apologized, then Richard helped her into the carriage with Gwen.
--
Edwin wanted to get up and go see what the servants were doing, but Mariah made him sit quietly beside her.
---
Maud anxiously fingered her apron. She was bursting to know what the note she delivered to Gwen's room read.
