Edwin nodded and bowed. "Thank you, for it," he said pleasantly. He led her to his father. "Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to go, um, over there," he said.

Linnet's smiled disappeared. She turned on her heel and walked away.
Richard led Kat to the benches after the first dance. "Well, I must say, you do dance as well as you ride!" He said cheerfully.
Edmund went over to Linnet and bowed. "Hello, miss, Linnet, I presume?"
She nodded. "Yes, Linnet. Who are you?"
"I'm Sir Edmund of Alnwick."
"Ah, yes, Princess Gwen has told me about you," Linney replied.
"She has, eh? Well, care to dance?" He asked
"I would love to."
Edmund led Linnet close to where Peter was. She frowned, then smiled politely as they began dancing.

"Nice to meet you Rachel" Gavin nodded politely toward Jenel. He made no mention of Redd, and turned back toward Katrina "I live in the woods, usually" He eyed the stew pot hungrily, but stayed in place and waited impatiently "Sometimes various places in the village. No particular spot" He glanced briefly up at Redd, but looked away just as quickly.

Katrina nodded. "The woods? Usually? What's your occupation?" She asked. She glanced at Redd. Now that he was her uncle, she'd have to learn to like him. At least for the few days he'd be with them.

Linnet smiled at Edmund. No wonder Gwen was so fond of him. They made small talk while they danced.
Edwin went outside. He looked about, but saw no one out there.

Mariah searched Jenel's room. She huffed angrily, then went to Lariah's room. She didn't bother knocking, but entered, only to find it empty of people.

Kat giggled. "Why not?"
 
"Well..." Gavin said slowly "I don't really have an occupation. I'm kinda a wanderer" He glanced around nervously. Mine wrong move and they'd never trust him. And he wanted them to. Not so they wouldn't be suspicious and become easy to rob, but because he genuinely wanted to be trusted by someone "And what do you do, Katrina?"
