*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

(Edmund. It's Edmund, I know it's confusing. :D)
Linnet curtsied to Edmund, and he bowed, once the song had ended. He wondered if one more dance would hurt. "May I have the honor of the next dance?" He asked
"You may," she replied.

Edmund looked up. Alena. "Oh, hi, I didn't know you were out here," he said. (Is that ok?)

Richard was thoroughly enjoying himself as well.
--
Maud knocked on Adrienne's door. "Princess, may I come in? I have the cake you requested," she said.
--
Katrina heard Gavin, but ignored him. She slowly ate her food. Not nearly as good as the castle food, but she had to do with what little she knew and had.

Peter went to find Linnet for the next dance, but saw she already had a partner, so he danced again with Marilyn.

Alena gave him a sad smile. "Hey."

Edmund made a joke, causing an immediate laugh from Linnet.
Richard glanced their way, the returned his eye to Kat. "So, has knight life been too hard on you?" He asked as they did a waltz
--
Edwin noted Alena's sad expression. "What's the matter?" (Dear, my love :gig) he asked concernedly.
__
Maud knocked again on Adrienne's door, then entered. "Hello? Princess, I have your cake," she said, setting sown the tray on a table.
--
Katrina finished her stew. She stuck the bowl in the bucket of water.
---
Fawn chuckled to herself. She did love her some mischief.

Adrienne bounced up and down excitedly. She hugged the servant and danced over to her piece of cake "Thank you Maud! What kind is it? It looks delicious!"
She offered a tiny bite to Calder who was nestled down on her bed. He rejected it, so Adrienne turned toward Maud "Maud, would you please fetch Calder his corn cake?"

Gwen did her best to ignore the pair. Finally the song ended and she was able to go sit by herself.

Kat rolled her eyes. "Of course not. Why would it be?"

Maud laughed at the pair. It took her a while, but she finally grew used to seeing a rooster on the bed. "Red velvet," she replied. "And yes, I shall fetch Mr. Calder's corn cake," she said as she left the room.
--
The song ended. Edmund bowed, then led Linnet to the edge of the room. She sat down, hoping Peter would ask her.

Edmund went over to where Gwen was. "Princess, would you do me the honor of the next dance?" He asked.

Edwin hesitated, then asked, "Would you dance this next dance with me?" He asked Alena.

Richard chuckled. "Oh, I don't know. It's not like you're the only female knight in the vicinity," he said.

Mariah came storming down the steps and into the Hall. Make went to Audric. "Audric, both our daughters are absent," she said hurriedly.

Peter saw Linnet sitting alone in the corner. He bowed to Marilyn before heading towards Linnet. "Lady Linnet you look absolutely stunning." He smiled brightly at her.

Gwen looked up. Surprised to see him she smiled. "Why of course."

Adrienne lay on her bed, flipping through a book. She wasn't reading, just looking at the pictures of distant lands.
She alternated between eating her cake and scratching Calder's chin.
"That place looks fun" Adrienne pointed to a picture, showing it to Calder "How would you like to go there some day?"
The rooster just clucked his reply, and Adrienne turned back to her cake

Maud returned. She smiled at the girl and rooster. She was quite fond of the princesses. "Here is Sir Calder's cake," she said as she set it on the bed.
--
Linnet blushed, and grinned. "Why thank you, Sir Peter. You look quite nice yourself," she replied.

Edmund smiled at Gwen. He held his hand out to her. "Why, whatever is the matter? Don't like me anymore?" He teased.

Peters smiled. "I thought so too."

Gwen frowned. "Why would I not like you anymore. Have you done something wrong?"
