*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Linnet nodded. She was about to ask who the pretty lady he was dancing with was, when Richard came up.
"May I break in?" He asked
Some nerve, he has, Linnet thought.

Edmund glanced at Peter and Linnet. "Pretty? Young, Sweet? No, not what you had in mind as my reply?" Edmund teased.

Edwin chuckled. "You are correct. I'm more dependent on my partner when it comes to dancing," he said.

The rider was headed for Edmund's cozy stone castle.

Peter just shrugged, hiding his irritation he left to find a new partner.

Gwen shrugged, trying to be casual. "I am indifferent. She's open, but probably not for long."

Alena shrugged.

Linnet fumed inside. On the outside, she smiled politely and let Richard dance with her.

Edmund raised an eyebrow. "But neither are you–open," he said.

Edwin smiled softly. He twirled Alena.

Gwen frowned. "If I could, I would be in a heartbeat. There has to be another way."

(Should I do it?? Should I make him say it?? *bites nails* nah I'll wait)
Edmund leaned closer. "Ever thought about running away?" He whispered in Gwen's ear

Linnet sighed. The song ended and Richard escorted her to the wall where there were chairs. She thanked him, then he left. She walked around the edge of the room slowly, looking for Peter. When she saw him, he....(Crazychick?!)

The moon was full. It's glow lit up the gardens perfectly. "Hm you are, surprisingly, quite a good dancer," Edwin teased Alena

Gwen looked up at him, shocked. He was serious. "I hadn't thought of that." They danced in silence for a few moments. "Where would O go? You couldn't just leave with out knowing what I was going to do."

Alena rolled her eyes. "And you are surprisingly not...for a prince."

Peter and Marilyn talked for a few minutes. He was enjoying her company. She said something and h e followed her out of the room, into a small, but cozy nursery.

( XD)
Edmund was completely serious. "I don't know. Did you know that no one has seen Princes Jenel in quite a few days?" He whispered

Edwin laughed. "My father never saw dancing as a necessity for me to learn," he explained.

Linnet saw Peter kiss the woman on the cheek. She had had enough. She went to Richard, and asked if she could use his horse to return home. He could ride in the carriage or something. He consented, then immediately returned to some conversation he was in with an Edinburgh guard.
Linnet put her cloak on and left the room quickly, quite distraught. She wiped a small tear from her eye.

The rider exited the castle via a window. Mounting, he quickly left.

Gwen looked up, alarmed. "What happened?"

Peter saw Linnet run out. He ran after her, bye wasn't fast enough. What was wrong with her? He watched her figure disappear over the hill.

Edmund shrugged as best one could while dancing. "I don't know. I may just be a rumor amongst the guards. But I haven't seen her here tonight," he explained.

Linnet cantered the horse all the way back to Alnwick castle.

Edwin spun Alena around once more, then the song ended.
