*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Katrina smiled. "Oh it was me pleasure," she said. "And thank ye, fer your cleanin' help."
---
Edmund nodded. The dance was over, so he led Gwen to the chairs. "That was a most delightful dance," he said.

Edwin bowed. "Thank you, miss Alena, for the best dance of the evening," he said.
--
Linnet went to her room. She was not aware of the shadowy figure who was a few yards behind her. The figure stopped following when Linnet went in her bedroom.
---

Gwen smiled. "It was."

(Timeskip to that evening.) Jenel looked up at redd. She nodded for him to step outside .
(Crazychick)
Katrina sighed. She stacked the clean bowls and cups and put them on a rickety wooden shelf. "Well, I could get used to this," she muttered to herself.
--
Edmund bowed, then turned to leave Gwen.

Edwin sat down on a bench. He looked up at Alena. "You look pale," he said. "You aren't sick, I do hope."
--
Linnet leaned against the back of her door, and slid down to a sitting position on the floor.

Fawn chuckled to herself. She twirled around in her room, making her full dark gown spin up. She laughed as she stood there dizzily.
---
Maud knocked on Adrienne's door. "Princess, it is nearly time for the candles to be blown out," she said.

Gavin used a handful of straw from the old broom and dusted off a shelf while he waited for Redd and Jenel to come back. He hoped they would let him stay.
---
Adrienne sighed and turned toward Maud "When will Gwen come back?" She asked "I wanna stay up till she comes home and tells me everything" She yawned despite herself and nestled down on her bed, holding Clader close.

Katrina glanced at Gavin then looked away. "The only problem we'd have with you stayin' is lack of room. The cabin hardly be big enough for the three of us," she said.
--
Maud smiled at the girl. "Your sister will retur soon. But you'd best not wait up on her. Your mother wouldn't like that, and neither would Calder," she explained. "Now, you change into your night-shift and I'll go ready your sister and the lady Linnet's bedrooms for them," she said as she turned to leave.

"I can sleep outside" Gavin shrugged "I'm used to it...I can work for food" work. Now that was a new concept. He almost said something to take that back, but didn't want to make Katrina suspicious.
----
Adrienne sighed "Okay" She rubbed Calder between his wattles "Good night Maud" She snuggles up under the covers, her arms around Calder and a content smile on her face.

Katrina raised an eyebrow. "Sleepin' outside wouldn't be much better than what yer doin' as a living now, eh?" She asked
--
"Good night," Maud said. She went into Gwen's room and folded back the covers. She added a log to the fire. A loud noise was heard above Gwen's room. Maud rolled her eyes. "Heaven knows what those assassins do in their spare time, which is most of their time," she muttered to herself.
---
Fawn stood up and rubbed her forehead. In her spinning happiness, she had toppled a chair, and herself.

(sure)

Gwen waved bye, and sat down to take a rest.

Alena shook her head. "No, just tired."

Edmund wandered around the Hall.

Edwin stood up. "If you insist. I better be going back in there, my mother will be looking for me," he said. "Don't work yourself too hard."

(Jenel is waiting on Redd outside the cabin)
---
Mariah scanned the small crowd for her son. "Audric, where is that boy of yours??" She asked irratably. "Tis nearly time for the Princess and her friends to go home, and I have not seen Edwin in quite some time."
