*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Gavin nodded.

Adrienne took a sandwich from Maud and offered a bite to Calder, since she didn't particularly feel like eating.
-----
Jephry tagged along after Jade at a distance, wondering what she was up to now.

Peter put his hands in his pockets. "I'm sorry My Dear, I have been lacking the time to say anything." He turned to the queen. "Kinney and I wish to marry."

Maud smiled.
--
Linnet nodded in agreement. Mariah stared at the two. "You two. Wish to marry?" She raised an eyebrow. "Eachother?"
Richard chuckled to himself.
---
Edmund shrugged. "You probably just thought you recognized him," he said. He was oblivious to Fawn being in the vicinity, and thought Gwen was referring to Redd
---
(Did you miss this?)

Peter nodded, but didn't say anything.

(yep)

Gwen shook her head. "No it was a girl! She wanted the contents of my bag." And then she remember what Redd had say, and slowly backed away.

Mariah stared at the two. "Well i don't care, you ought to ask the king."
---
Edmund sighed. He looked at the ground. "A girl? Do you know either of the two that were just here, and, I assume, are still around?"

Gwen shrugged. "I do not remember their names, though I'm sure that they didn't come together." Gwen took a breath. "Is it true?"

"Wh-what the man said." Gwen was shaking, she hoped it wasn't obvious.
Edmund put his arms around Gwen. He decided he ought to be honest, especially with such a serious thing. "Yes, and no. The evening after you agreed to this, a letter–with the royal seal of Edinburgh on it–demanded that I, and why me I have no idea, dispose of you. You know what I mean." He put his hands on her shoulders and looked her in the eye. Lowering his voice, he continued, "I don't know what I was planning to do. If I didn't, there would be serious consequences, for both you and me. And then that man showed up while you were fetching water. I have a feeling the king sent him, to ensure I carried out his awful demand." His eyes we're slightly teared up, but he looked down so Gwen wouldn't see.
---
Linnet went over to Peter. "Yes, of course." She dipped a low curtsy to Mariah, then turned to leave. Mariah nodded her head. She wasn't inclined to bow to someone "lower" than herself.
