Edmund glanced around. Lowering his voice, he said, "we can continue on. I didn't exactly have a plan because I was thinking I'd, you know, before then, giving me no reason to run. But we can try to head north, towards my father's castle."

Fawn stopped her horse and dismounted.

Richard returned to Alnwick upon Linnet's command. He galloped into the paddock. "Princess Adrienne," he nodded to her.

Katrina grinned. "I don't really know. I rarely am able to get out, and when I can, it's ta go to town on errands. What do you like?"

Richard shook his head. "I've a better idea, all due respect. Let's go alert the guardhouse to send out a search party. I'll send a servant to alert the king and queen," he suggested. He was beginning to think something had happened to Gwen, but he didn't want to worry the child too much.
 
"I like to climb a tree and sit quietly, watching the animals...especially when they have babies with them" Gavin smiled.
