*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Audric took off his reading glasses and rubbed his eyes. "But that is it. They are just like we were. My mother couldn't stand you Darling, I'm surprised she let you come this far." He replied, not considering how this probably wouldn't help.

Redd nodded. "Of course not." They walked along in silence for a few minutes. "You never did say why you were after the princess."

Fent shrugged. "I do not know anything about medicine, but there is some syrup in the cupboard."

Mariah gasped, louder this time. "Audric, my dear, you are being of no help at all!"
--
Fawn frowned. "Neither did you."
--
Edmund looked up. "Syrup? What kind?"

Audric shrugged. "I'm sorry, but I really see no issue here."

Redd smirked. "Or maybe I did, but you hit your head and have now forgotten."

Fent scratched his head. "Umm...i think it is for the stomach." Of course it really wasn't, but they needn't know that.

Mariah sat down, then quickly stood again. She began to argue, but decided against it. Instead, she simply stood and left
--
Fawn laughed. "Well, I believe I did hit my head."
--
"Very well then. Let me have a spoon and the bottle," Edmund said to Fent

Audric shrugged and went back to his paperwork.

Redd gave her a curt nod. "See I told you. Now you tell me."

Fent went to retrieve the bottle. "Stomach syrup." He laughed. He pulled out a small corked bottle. Fent returned to the weary group smiling. "This should help."

"But I don't remember your reason," Fawn protested.
---
Edmund smiled gratefully. He leaned Emilee up, using his arm behind her head to support her. "Thank you, sir," he took the spoon from Fent. Emilee groaned slightly, but that was all

"But I did tell you, however, you never mentioned yours." Redd smirked thinking of how clever he was. (haha not)

Fent went to the kitchen to retrieve some beans. "So I suppose this means that you will be staying then?"

Fawn turned in the saddle and glared at Redd. "But I don't remember it. and I SHALL NOT tell you my reason, unless you repeat yours," she Retorted
---
Edmund shrugged. He looked at Gwen, then back at Emilee. "Yes, I suppose so. If Emilee is awake by morning, Gwen, we can leave tomorrow afternoon and get your horse and continue."

Redd shrugged indifferently. "I'm on a mission for the queen to watch over her daughter-in-law to-be, to ensure that she comes home safely." He lied.

Gwen huffed and stomped back to the room she had stayed in.

Fawn, unusually gullible at the moment from the nasty knock to her head, nodded in understanding. "Fine. Likewise, I'm tracking the Princess. But not for The Queen Mariah. For His Highness of Alwick."
--
As soon as Gwen walked out, Edmund glared at Fent. "You know who she is. Tell me, how," he demanded
