Fawn looked up, alarmed. "Of course! He sent me out here to find–" she stopped. Things didn't seem to match up. The King of Alwick sent her, yet no one knew Gwen was missing till a day later.

Edmund propped a pillow under Emilee's head. "There! You just admitted it. You know my "sister" is the princess. How?"
 
Redd glanced up at her before turning back to the road. "What? What is it?"

Fent laughed at him. "I didnt admit anything. Though, dont you think that Emilee will find it odd when she notices that you are in love with your 'sister.' Dont you think that she will notice?"
 
Redd walked slowly behind. He hadn't planned on walking so far, but he just had to invite the girl. "Ignorant fool."

Fent ignored Edmund's demands, and continued to loudly clank around in the kitchen.
 
Fawn was torn inside. She knew duty always came first, yet she couldn't help it. She looked over her shoulder to make sure Redd was keeping up.
