*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

"How about you think it over tonight, then tomorrow morning we continue on or return to Alwick. And you please, consider omg yourself in this. I'll do whatever you want," Edmund told her
---
Mariah nodded. "Oh, and one other thing."

Gwen's eyes swelled again. When was she going to learn to control her emotions. "What do you want though?"

Alena turned. "Yes?"

"Have I nof made it obvious enuugh? I want you to be happy," Edmund said
--
"If you know what's good for you, stay away from my son," Mariah warned. She smiled sweetly and returned to her embroidery

Gwen growled in frustration. "No! Do you want me to leave so you can go back to your castle?"

Alena tried to smile. "I'm afraid I don't know what you mean."

Edmund stood up and walked to the door. "In the morning, we will be mounting our horses and leaving. Where we leave for is completely up to you, my dear," he said
---
Mariah didn't look up. "Oh, you know exactly what I mean," she said slyly.
---

Gwen rapidly blinked back tears. He did want her to go. "I suppose that means you you!" She leapt off the bed, and ran out the door.

Fent seeing Gwen run out went to the doorway. "What was that about?"

Alena shook her head. "I assure you Your Highness, that there is nothing, more has there ever been anything going on between your son and myself." Shifting the tray in her hand she said. "A prince and a servant? That is just ridiculous!" Though she hoped the words weren't true.
(is Edwin busy???)

Edmund watched Gwen leave. He figured it wasn't much use to go after her. He hoped she'd make the best choice for her sake.
He ignored Fent
---
Mariah frowned, continuing her embroidery. "Stranger things have happened," she muttered.
