*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Gwen ran outside and mounted Edmunds horse. She quickly sped off into their wood, not knowing, or caring, where she ended up.

Alena ran all the way to Edwin's room, and banged on the door sobbing.

Edmund sat down at the table. He looked at his cold cup of tea and swished it around with a spoon.
Emilee lay sleeping on the setee
---
Edwin jumped. He looked at Jenel
---
Mariah laughed to herself. She re-threaded her needle

Gwen continued to ride.

Alena banged loudly on the door again. "Edwin?!"

Redd saw smoke rising in the distance. The cabin wasn't much farther.

Edmund felt uneasy about Gwen. He hoped shed return soon
---
Edwin opened the door. "Alena?"
--
Fawn slowed the horse down. She didn't recognize the area at all, which worried her

Gwen lay under a large willow. She had shed all her tears, and was quickly drifting to sleep.

Alena flung herself into Edwin's arms. "Its-its your mother!" She sobbed.

(Afternoon, evening? What time?)
---
Edwin awkwardly put his arms around Alena. He glanced at Jenel. "What has my mother done now?" He asked Alena
--
Fawn was about to continue when she thought she heard crying. She called out

(umm I'm not sure I lost track.)

"She-she...I do not know what she is going to do, but she has made it very clear that she is going to do something!" Alena breathed, and tried to calm down.

Edwin pushed Alena back a bit and looked her in the eye. "I won't let anything happen to you," he promised
---
Mariah laughed to herself. "Mere threats always seem to do the trick," she said under her breath as she finished up her embroidery
---
Fawn turned off the rode a bit and walked the horse into the woods. "Hello? Anybody out here?" She called out

Alena shook her head. "There isn't a thing that you could do." She let go of him and sat on the edge of his bed. "What could you do about it, she will only accept Gwen."
