Anna's and Katrina's eyes widened at the same time. "You, and my daughter, are betrothed?" Anna asked, amazed. Katrina felt a sudden tinge of jealousy
Gavin swallowed hard. He nodded, glancing at Katrina, wondering why he couldn't be betrothed to her instead. As long as he'd known Emilee, he could never force himself to think of her as anything more than a friend.

Shocked from the day's events, Anna sat down quickly. "Mother, are you okay?" Katrina reached out to help her mom.
"Yes, yes, I'm fine," Anna waved her away. Katrina's eyes were tearing up a bit. How could she be jealous of a sister she never knew she had? She should be ecstatic. "I'm going to get a breath of fresh air," She said, leaving the cabin.

Emilee grabbed a loaf of bread she had Mande the other day and a few apples.

Gavin didn't know what to do. He wanted to run after Katrina, tell her how he felt, and hope everything would change somehow. But how could he? He was sure Katrina didn't return his feelings. How could she? Gavin was just a common ordinary village thief. A village thief who was betrothed to Katrina's sister. He stopped himself from running out into the yard. Instead, he turned his attention back to the cat.

Katrina closed the door gently behind her then ran to the barn. She slipped the bridle over the half linger mare and cantered out of the yard, trying to contain her tears.
---
Emilee looked around the one room cottage that she had called home all her life. She tightened her sack, but before leaving she went over to her sleeping father and kissed him on top of his head. "Good bye, father," she whispered.

Gavin stroked the cat and glanced at Katrina's mother, but looked away just as quickly. He trembled slightly as he picked up the cat and set it on the floor before turning and stalking out the door without a word.

(poor kitty)

Anna sipped her tea quietly. She heard Katrina leave, on the horse no doubt, and probably going to the pear grove nearby. "Gavin," Anna called out.
/--
Katrina cantered the horse down a well used path that led to the nearby pear grove. Her mother's home was situated amidst many orchards of different kinds.
---
Emilee closed the rickety door behind her. She would take her father's horse and go as far as Alnwick, if possible, and beg a room there for the night. She remembered Fent saying he lived in Alnwick castle most of the time, so that's where she would go first.

Gavin spun around and faced Anna "Yeah?" He asked quietly.

Anna and Katrina both turned at the same time to face Gavin. "You do?" They asked at the same time. (Madam)

Emilee went to her corner of the cottage and pulled out a feed cloth sack from under her mattress. She grabbed her few clothing items, a small bible she had never been able to read, a bag in which she kept a locket her mother gave her, and a small pouch of coins she had stowed away over the years.

"Yes, I'm perfectly fine," Linnet replied. She leaned her head on Peter's shoulder. (Crazy chick)
---
Edwin saw a lone rider in the distance. "Hello!" He called out. (Alena)
---
Mariah was silent for a minute. "Very well. Be gone with you," she told Edmund, who looked very surprised.

(Where's Gwen?)

Richard headed back to his room via a back door. (Open)

Fawn sat under a tree, thinking. (Open)

Maud left the two princesses together and headed for the laundry. (Open)

"Would you like to go to the river then?" Peter asked. "Or something else. It doesn't matter where we go. If I'm with you I do not care."

Alena threw a quick over her shoulder and eased her horse into a trot.

(she was with Adrienne)

Fent sat in an apple tree at the edge of an orchard. His anger was starting to fade into sadness.

Linnet smiled. "I don't mind where we go. If I'm with you I don't care," she chuckled.

Edwin sped his poor horse. It took him a moment to recognize Alena. "Alena, what are you doing out here?" He asked, concerned for once in his life.

(Trees and horse riding. Lots of horse riding. )

Emilee's mind was spinning. She had a sister and a mother out there somewhere. It didn't matter where, anywhere would be better than the hovel she had lived in all her life.
--
Anna reached her hand out to Gavin. "It's not your fault," she said simply.
---
Katrina slid of the horse's back before it had completely stopped. She dropped the reins and went over to the lovely little stream that ran through the entire orchard.
---
Edmund obeyed. He stood, bowed, then left. He didn't bother to ask for a room for the night.
