*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

"Its is only servant talk." Peter said, quickly trying to reassure her.

(has he left?)

Alena waited for the rider to pass, but he never did. He was have turned around, she assumed leading her horse back onto the path.

Linnet gasped. "The Queen paid Sir Edmund of Alnwick to take her away?"

(With Peter to Alnwick to talk to Richard and get info about Gwens whereabouts)
---
Anna nodded. "Yes, an elder sister. She should be about 20 now," she said. Katrina listened intently.
---
Emilee stared at her father. "Why did you never tell me?" She asked. John shrugged. "What are their names?" She asked after a moment of silence.
"Anna is your mother. Your sister, if i remember right, is Katrina," John said. He didn't look too angry. As a matter of fact, he looked sad

"What is her name?" Gavin wasn't sure why he asked.

Linned nodded. "They do love to talk," she said sleepily.
---
(Just left)
Edwin trotted his horse out of the courtyard, but brought it to a walk not far out. The poor horse was exhausted from running nearly all the way to Alnwick
---
Katrina watched her mother carefully, eager to hear the reply.
"Emilee. Her name is Emilee," Anna said.
(Does Gavin remember?)
---
Emilee actually for once felt pity for her father. She reached out and grabbed his hand gently. "Where are they living?" She asked quietly.
"East of Edinburgh," John said roughly.
---
Mariah was rather surprised with the turn of events of what she had thought to be a good plan. "And she is at her home now?" She asked.
Edmund nodded. "We returned early this morning."
---
(Where is Gwen?)

Gavin choked on his tea and clanked his cup down "Oh...that's nice" He managed to stutter.
(Does that answer your question?

:)lau you've got me laughing. And yes, that does answer my question. )

Anna looked at Gavin, surprised. "Are ye ok?" She asked, concerned.
"Is the tea that bad?" Katrina asked. Her mother's herbal tea was either loved or hated by whoever drank it.
---
Emilee, having never traveled, couldn't figure out the distance in her head. Her father answered her question for her. "About a week's ride," he said.

"The tea's fine" Gavin said hoarsely, staring at the floor "I just...er...know someone named Emilee"

Anna sighed with relief. "And Katrina, my tea isn't that bad." Katrina chuckled nervously.
--
"Katrina..." Gavin started, but stopped. He picked up the cat and set it in his lap. He didn't want to explain anything. He knew he'd eventually have to, but it could wait. The chances of the Emilees being the same Emilee couldn't be that high.

(It's a small world afterall *insert music notes here*)

"Why did you leave, and only bring me?" Katrina asked.
Anna was silent for a minute. It had been sixteen years since, but she remembered the day and reason for leaving very well. "Your father, well, you could say he preferred his bottle over me," she said solemnly. "Emilee was three, but he was always gentle with her. You were a wee babe, an I couldn't bear leavin you," she explained

From what Gavin knew of Emilee's father, his hopes that they weren't the same person slowly died. How could they not be the same Emilee? He had to tell them, but he resolved to wait until the right moment.
