*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Linnet nodded. "I wish Gwen wasn't being forced into it. It will only bring chaos if they go into this marriage not liking, much less loving, each other. It makes me grateful to not be royalty," she said.
---
Katrina managed to stand up only to slip and fall down again. She decided to just remain sitting in the water for the moment. "Gavin, I'm no good at fancy speeches so I'll just tell ye this. You don't know how much those words you just spoke to me mean. Since the day you snuck into that cabin, my life has been changed as well–definitely for the better."
---
Mariah was undecided as to what to do next. She finally decided to have Alena watched 24/7 and Edwin as well.
---
Maud returned to the hallway at which the princess's quarters were. She knocked on Adrienne's door

Peter frowned. "She seems nice enough. I'm not sure why he prefers Edwin servant over Gwen."

Alex slumped against a tree. He didn't even get to say goodbye to her.

Gwen knocked on the king's study again. "Father?"

Linnet stopped and looked at Peter inquisitively. "Servant? What on you talking about, Peter?" She asked

Fawn finally admitted to herself that Edmund wouldn't be returning till the morning. She continued to watch out her window anyway

Edwin be riding

Emilee be riding

Gavin didn't know what to say. He didn't trust himself to speak, so he just took Katrina's hand and pulled her into a warm though wet embrace.
---
"Come in!" Adrienne called.

(Who is Alex? A forgotten character since before I joined?

Peter frowned. "The one you met the day that we met."

(I have one character being used...anybody?)
Linnet was still confused, but she decided to let it go. "So, dinner or no?" She asked

Katrina hugged Gavin tightly. There were other words she wished to say, but for now silence seemed the best option.

(Alex is a guard at Edinburgh)

Gavin closed his eyes tightly. For one perfect moment, everything seemed to be okay. There was no one hunting him as the thief he no longer wanted to be, there was no stolen horse running back to the palace to, most likely, get everyone suspicious, and there was no promise to Emilee. There was just one, perfect Katrina. Gavin trembled noticeably as he held Katrina closer. There were no words to describe exactly how he felt. He hoped Katrina knew.

(Ah, okay)

Daisy decided now would be a good time to leave. Kicking up her little hooves, she ran out of the orchard and headed home, leaving the two humans soaked and horseless.
Katrina wished things could stay this way forever. Well, not soaking wet and in the middle of a creek, but being with Gavin.

Emilee finally had her horse under control enough to think. Her first thoughts were of her mother who, as she saw it, pretty much abandoned her. Her second thought was of her probably spoiled little sister who had the easy life. Once she had cleared her mind of that, she was plumb mad at her mom, her father, her sister, and Gavin. She hated not getting her way, which happened far too often, and being engaged to some man she hadn't seen in a year was extremely maddening. Then an idea truck her. Maybe he was dead? Or married to some girl in the middle of nowhere? After all, it had been a year since they had last seen each other. She did like him–at least when they were young teenagers, but that was then. And she knew she could never love him, as she saw him more like a brother.
