*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Gavin gently set them each on the floor gently
---
Cliffton was getting rather tired of the conversation. He tapped his foot impatiently.
Anna smiled at Gavin. She liked his personality, and honestly was fine with whichever daughter he married
--
"I didn't know there was a The lady Jane. But yes, I suppose, I'm The Lady Jane. I'm here at your mother, her royal Highness's wish," Jane replied.
"Hm. Well, I've got to go," Edwin prepared to leave for the third time.
"Do I know you? Personally?" Jane asked, interrupting his leaving.
"You should."
"Why?" She asked

Gavin stood up and sighed. Yesterday ad been a mixture of wonderful and terrible, and no he was leaving to go see Emilee. He still wasn't sure he wanted to.
---
Cliffton groaned. He was hungry and had s missing horse and they were making small talk. His problems were supposed to be priority.

Cliffton groaned. He was hungry and had s missing horse and they were making small talk. His problems were supposed to be priority.
Anna set a bowl of porridge on the table. "Breakfast is ready," she said
---
"Because you were supposed to be my wife, once upon a time," Edwin said. His tone suggested that it was news everyone knew about and she should know. Jane's eyes widened in surprise.
"Really? Huh. And I wonder why I never knew," she said quietly

Gavin smiled and sat down at the table.
---
Cliffton groaned. This could turn into quite a long conversation.
---
Cedric galloped across a grassy hill.

Cedric galloped across a grassy hill.
Anna sat down across from him.

Edwin felt bad to now just walk off during the conversation turned serious. He looked down at his boots. Jane looked at Cliffton. "Please tell me I'm not the only one hearing that for the first time," she said to him.

Katrina folded the apron and set it on top of a pile of laundry. No one was in the room so no one would notice her leaving. She headed for her room.
--
Emilee, after much mental debate, decided to continue to Alnwick. She wiped her face on the hem of her dress, then grabbed her bag and stood up.
--
Fawn slipped the bridle over her horse's head.

Gavin picked up his spoon "I'll leave right after breakfast" He announced less than enthusiastically.
---
"Nobody ever tells me anything" Cliffton shrugged.
---
Cedric was getting bored with riding. He was sore and miserable. But he wasn't there yet which made him even more miserable. His miserableness irritated him and he took out his disgust on a piece of jerky.

Anna smiled approvingly. "Don't forget the bag with your food and my letter," she told him.
--
Jane frowned. How disappointing royalty could be. Perhaps that's why her father was so mad every time Edinburgh was mentioned. "Well I must be off," she said. She dipped a quick curtsy and turned on her heel to leave. Edwin froze. A click click of heels and the familiar song his mother often hummed was nearing. He quickly grabbed Cliffton's wrist and pulled him behind the curtain again.
"Why, hello dear," Mariah said to Jane. Jane turned abruptly, nearly colliding with the queen. "Your highness," she curtsied deeply. She glanced around for the princes, but they seemed to have disappeared again

""you are, I presume, one of the guards sent from Edinburgh as a peace gift till the wedding?" Richard asked
--
Linnet fingered the silk fabric of the white gown gently. She smoothed out the wrinkles and hung it on a peg on the wall.
--
Katrina set the heavy basket full of laundry down. She then proceeded to hang the wet clothes on a line in the laundry room

Alex shrugged. "I was."

Peter scrawled a quick note and sent a guard off in a hurry.

Gavin shoveled the last bit of breakfast in his mouth and stood up "I guess I'll be going"
---
Cliffton groaned, sighed, and sneezed.

Cedric wondered where his old partner was. As he rode along, he thought of all the terrible things he would do if they met again.

Richard raised an eyebrow, skeptical about Alexms reply. "Was?" He asked
--
Linnet closed the trunk and pushed it into a corner of the room. She sat down on the bed and looked around the room
---
Anna stood as well. "Safe travels my dear. Please give my best regards to Emilee," she said
--
"If you see my sons, please send them to me," Mariah said. Jane nodded and curtsied again for good measure. Mariah continued on her way to the great hall.
As soon as she was gone, Jane pulled the curtain back. "You little devils!" She whispered loudly, grinning. "Her Highness is looking for you," she told them. Edwin rolled his eyes and pushed past Jane again. "Cliffton and I have business to do. Farewell miss Jane, I shall see you at supper."

Katrina went looking for Jane's room to make sure the fire wasn't dead.
