*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Maud frowned. She kept silent while she finished Elaina's hair.
---
"She still hasn't said that," Edwin argued.
--
Edmund nodded. "That's how that usually works," he chuckled.
--
Jane grasped the door handle finally. Pulling hard she managed to get the door open a couple inches. She could see now that this door did indeed lead to the hall.

Alena growled in frustration. "You don't understand! She HATES me. She thinks that you're going to fall in love with me. Its ridiculous."

Peter smiled. "What about you?"

"Well she's ridiculously right," Edwin said in a very serious tone.
---
"Hm? Ah no, I don't like Linnet," Edmund smirked. This conversation wasn't exactly turning in his favor
---
The door gave and Jane stumbled out, Into the hall. She blinked a couple times, her eyes adjusting to the light after being in the dark room.
Mariah stared, open mouthed and eyes wide, at the girl

Alena cover her face with her hands. "You don't understand. It could never work. THEY would never let it work."

Peter laughed. "That is not what I meant. If you had though, I might have had to fight you."

Audric heard the door creak, but focused on his meal.

"They'd never let it work, but they could never prevent it," Edwin said. "I mean, what you just said a moment ago."
---
"Haha I know you didn't mean that," Edmund chuckled.
---
Mariah restrained herself and pretended to not see Jane, who slotted around the Great Hall and came up behind the king

Alena wiped her eye. "But what could you do? There's no way to make it work."

Peter chuckled. "What is Fawn to you?"

Audric saw Jane. "Glad you decided to join us."

Edwin stood up. "Make what work?" He asked
--
Edmund was about to get up but froze at Peter's question. "Is that your business?" He retorted. He quickly realized that was no way to talk to a baron. "I'm sorry, that wasn't nice of me," he apologized
---
Jane quickly took a seat. "I do apologize for my lateness," she said, blushing

(Oh, oops. I didn't read to catch up XD I did this time though...)

Gavin did as Gavin does.
---
Cliffton ate a chicken leg, not even noticing that Jane had walked in.
---
Cedric entered his cabin and clunked his sack down in a large chest, which he closed.

Edwin stood up. "Make what work?" He asked

Jane quickly took a seat. "I do apologize for my lateness," she said, blushing

"Me and you." Alena said quietly.

Peter chuckled. "I suppose you are right."

Audric motioned towards the remaining seat. "Well sit then."
