Maud smiled broadly. "Of course, princess. Let me help you with it," she offered.
Linnet felt sick at her stomach from a couple different things, but she wasn't going to let that dissuade her from going to the ball. It had been weeks since there had been anything fun and who knew when the next fun thing would be.
Richard went down stairs to help with the carriage for the princess.
Fawn prepared her horse at the stable. She wasn't a noblewoman or royalty, but Edmund had invited her anyway because she was a friend. Perhaps he thought her closer than that. Either way, it pleased her to be invited to the ball.

Redd stared out the window, eager for them to get moving and gone. He flipped the vial around in his hand unconsciously. He hadn't had a decent mission in months, so he was actually looking forward to this.
