*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Linnet pondered whether to tell him her name or not. He seemed nice enough. "I'm Linnet. Lady Linnet," she said politely. "Are you a resident of Alnwick castle?"

Fent nodded. "Nice name."
Linnet was slightly offended that the man didn't even have the decency to bow, but she tried not to let it show. "You didn't answer my question. Are you of Alnwick castle?" She asked.

Richard listened carefully to what Gwen said. They were quite a way away from Linnet and Fent, so there wasn't too much fear of being heard at a whisper. "An assassin, you say. Hm." Richard said quietly. "Well, what does I matter if I like her?! He said a bit too loudly.
"Are you trying to keep this a secret, because if you are, then you are doing a very poor job." She glanced over at the group, they were still talking, so she assumed they hadn't heard him. "There is nothing wrong with liking Lady Linnet, but it isn't easy, and you aren't the only one after it."
Richard wanted to push Gwen against the tree and demand she tell him who he had as competition, but he didn't dare. Instead he asked rather calmly, "Might you tell me who else?" 'So I can kill him', he thought.

Gwen giggled. "There are many. If you payed more attention to the people AROUND her, then you could tell. Though, I don't think that spying on her is the way to win her heart." (KILL?!?!?!)

(Mind if I pop in?)
Maud walked down the halls as gracefully as a maid with a full basket of laundry possibly could. She was passing a door when she heard voices. She stopped to listen.

(Be my guest. Bwhahahahah)

Redd was quiet. "Again, that's none of your business."
Fawn growled.

Linnet was slightly offended that the man didn't even have the decency to bow, but she tried not to let it show. "You didn't answer my question. Are you of Alnwick castle?" She asked.

Fent smiled. "Yes, I am. Are you, Lady Linnet?"

Lariah noticed the the mans black horse noticed her, so she quieted her red dun horse, Sparrow, and waited.

Arthur drew his sword, unsure whether or not there was danger, but he trusted his horse and knew that someone was there. He walked the horse slowly, sword in his hand.

Linnet's irritation had subsided. She liked the guy, he was nice, jovial, and friendly. "Yes, I am if Alnwick. As a matter of fact, I am the princess' closest friend," she said proudly.

"Dont follow her around." She thought for a moment. "I'm not saying that you shouldn't talk to her, but she isn't going to want you always at her side." She shrugged.
