(Kat is a female knight at Alnswick.)
Edwin knew better. He got up and left the room. He went to look for Jenel, he needed to talk to her. (Beaky)

Linnet smiled back. "I feel perfectly fine. So fine, as a matter of fact, that I'm going for a walk," she stated.
--
Fawn jumped down off the window. "Good day, Redd," she said.
--
Richard set up a target, then mounted his black horse.

Gwen gave her a worried look, but knew that there was no stopping her. Then she remembered. "Oh Linnet. Peter said that he would stop by to see you today."
-------
"You can't avoid me forever!" He called after her. And then laughed. "Not that you want to!"

Jenel saw him coming. Oh great here comes the questionsshe thought.
Edwin saw Jenel. He walked past her, grabbing her wrist, and pulled her into the library. "Where were you yesterday, when Sir Richard went to fetch you?" He demanded. "Nobody saw you all day, even the maids said they hadn't helped ready you for the party."

Linnet went behind the screen to change. She stopped when Gwen replied. "Did he say when?" She asked quietly.
--
Fawn ignored him. "Big baby," she muttered.

Linnet nodded, even though Gwen couldn't see her. "If he comes by while I'm out, tell him I went to the mews," she replied. She slipped the gown over her petticoat.

Peter was about to mount, when he remembered something, and went to the garden to retrieve it.
------
Gwen smiled. "Anything for you Linnet."

Linnet grinned. She finished dressing, then emerged from behind the curtain to get her shoes. She grabbed her cloak from the wardrobe, then left the room.

"Why does it matter?" She looked back at him strongly.
