Richard walked slowly around the gardens. He decided not to go in till the dinner ended.

Linnet looked up at Peter. She wanted to say something, but the table was too noisy for her to be heard over the chatter. She'd wait till the dancing.

Mariah finished her salad. Another course was brought in.

Although I don't know where I'd go if I left" He wondered what Jenel and Redd were talking about. He didn't like Redd, but didn't like his secrecy even more.
