Gwen shrugged. "I'm not quite sure." Hopefully soon. She thought.
 
Mariah smiled at the delightful young woman. "Oh, I am quite well," she replied. "And you?"
Edmund sat down in a chair next to Gwen's. He folded his arms, and he and Edwin had a staring contest. ( :lau couldn't help myself!!)

Gwen glanced their way, but only for a moment. "Oh I couldn't be better!" She beamed. "This is so lovely."
 
Katrina checked to make sure no one was following, then slipped her dirty gown off and put a clean one on. She only had a few dresses, and she was only able to bring half of them, so laundry would need to be done more frequently than when at the castle.

Mariah nodded. "Good. Well, it has been a most delightful evening. I cannot thank you enough for coming," she said, a bit more exaggerated than she really meant.
Edwin averted his eyes from Edmund and listened to his mother's boring flattery.
